Presenter: Mark Reeson

We all like to think our projects and change programmes are well planned and are destined for success when we start but so many business initiatives get into trouble at different stages of their implementation.

Success is never guaranteed, even in safe and stable times, so how does a business overcome its challenges to delivery in such unprecedented times?

This learning session looks at the key reasons behind project and change failure and how to address these early to minimize their impact. In addition, the session will demonstrate a bespoke Organisational Business Recovery Model that will assist the participants in assessing where they are, what direction they need to take, who should take the lead and when and where the recovery implementation needs to take place.

This presentation will leave its participants with a hands-on method they can take away from the session and introduce into their organisation as and when Change Recovery is next needed, offering them greater confidence that their future business initiatives can be delivered with a higher degree of success.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the learning session, participants will be able to:

  •  Understand the main causes of project and change initiative failure
  • Be able to evaluate and diagnose an at-risk business initiative
  • Implement a recovery initiative plan using the Organisational Business Recovery Model
